This working group is led by Richard Rechtman , psychiatrist, anthropologist and director of research at École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS, Paris), and is constituted of five members: Clara Han, professor at Johns-Hopkins University (Baltimore); Emilie Medeiros, researcher in the department of psychiatry at University College London; Hélène Dumas, professor at Sciences Po Bordeaux; Lotte Buch Segal, professor at the University of Copenhagen; Valérie Robin-Azevedo, assistant director of the Centre d’anthropologie culturelle, Université Paris-Descartes.
The members that attended the meetings agreed on working on different subjects to deal with the general topic:
- The trauma’s description by the own victims
- The social network of perpetrators in a post-violence context
- New repertoires of public actions (exhumations)
- Dealing with perpetrators in a context of post-violence
