Benjamin Ducol holds a doctorate in political science from Laval University and is in charge of research at the Centre for the Prevention of Radicalisation Leading to Violence (Montreal, Canada). He is an associate researcher at the Canada Research Chair on Conflicts and Terrorism, and at the International Centre for Comparative Criminology (CICC) and member of the Canadian Network for Research on Terrorism, Security & Society (TSAS). He is the author of several scientific publications (Terrorism and Political Violence; Media, War & Conflict; Civil Wars; Journal for Deradicalisation) on jihadism-related militant radicalism, radicalisation processes in the Web and social media era and the mobilisation of terrorism victims and its impact.
