Fadila Maaroudi is a Ph.D candidate at Université Libre de Bruxelles and intern at the Institute of Research and Study on the Arab and Muslim Worlds (IREMAM) at Aix Marseille Université. She holds a MA in anthropology from Université Catholique de Louvain-la-Neuve (UCL).
From 2000 to 2014, she was a social worker in the poor suburbs of Brussels. Since 2015 she has been presenting seminar and symposium on radicalisation targetting a professional audience. She is part of the Supervising Board for Nivelles prison, in Belgium.
Her researches focus on Muslim women’s radicalisation processes in a comparative analysis in Europe.
