Ayshwarya Rajith Sriskanda holds a PhD from Burnel University, London. He worked as an associate lecturer at Brunel University, London. He is a senior member of the editorial board of Paris-based Tamil Language Eelamurasu. He also serves as a political advisor for Tamil Coordinating Committe (UK), Tamils for Labour (UK) and the Tamil Media Centre (France). He has specialist knowledge and expertise in Western liberal state-building, bio-politics, re-conceptualizing war, the Tamil – Sinhala conflict in Sri lanka, the politics of the Tamil diaspora, and Indian foreign and security policy.
