Bartolomeo Conti is a sociologist and associate member of the CADIS at EHESS, from which he received his doctorate in sociology in 2011 with a thesis entitled “The emergence of Islam in Italian public space: Muslim leaders between integration and fundamentalism”. From 2013 to 2015, he was a research assistant at the European University Institute’s Robert Schuman Centre. Between 2015 and 2016 he worked as a guest researcher as part of the University of California Berkeley’s Institutions and Governance Programme.
