Elisabeth Claverie has been a researcher for the CNRS since 1 January 1980. She is a member of a number of research laboratories, including the Political and Moral Sociology Group (CNRS/EHESS). Since December 2013, she has been working at Paris Nanterre University’s Institute for Political Sciences as Research Director Emeritus for the CNRS. Her research fields and subjects are religious/political anthropology, the anthropology of the “trial form” as a modern political construct, trials brought before international criminal courts, and armed groups.
