Jean-Pierre Dozon

Director of studies emeritus at the Institut de recherche pour le développement (IRD), Jean-Pierre Dozon is an anthropologist and published over a dozen of works, and mainly worked in West Africa on development, health, ethnic issues, on relations between politics and the religious sphere, and on Franco-African and Sino-African relations. He is also director of studies at EHESS, member of the Institut des mondes africains (IMAF), and was the vice-chair of the Fondation Maison des sciences de l’homme.

Jean-Pierre Dozon is co-director and member of the steering committee of the IPEV project.
