Michel Foucher

Geographer, diplomat and French essay writer, Michel Foucher is the founder of the Observatoire européen de géopolitique in Lyon, and collaborated on many issues of the journal Hérodote. He is Director of studies and  research at the Institut des Hautes Études de défense nationale. He is a Member of the scientific commitee of the Collège d’études mondiales (FMSH) where he holds a chair in geopolitics. He is also member of the Foreign Affairs Council and expert at the Economic and Defense Council  and advisor of the Peace and Security Divison at the African Union Comission (Addis Abeba, Ethiopia).

Michel Foucher is member of the steering committee of the IPEV project.
