Mouldi Lahmar is Sociology Professor at the Doha Institute for Graduate Studies’ Department de Sociology and Anthropology. He completed his advanced studies and doctorate in rural sociology at the EHESS in Paris, but defended his doctoral thesis in political sociology at the University of Tunis. He has published a number of articles in scientific reviews in Arabic and French and has translated Marcel Mauss’s “The Gift” into Arabic. He is also Editor-in-Chief of the sociology and anthropology review “OMRAN”, which is published by ACRPS (Doha).
