Sandrine Lefranc’s research centres on separate perspectives (political sociology, international relations, political theory, sociology of law) and different methods (quality research on areas in the “South” and the “North”, prosopographical analysis, collective thinking on collection mechanisms for historical reports), in support of the analysis of subjects that are not studied enough in France: the politics of peace-building and “transitional justice” and, more broadly, she contributes to furthering the national and international dissemination of conflict resolution techniques in a number of social sectors.
