Marie Kortam is a member of the working group “Radicalisation, a comparative perspective“. She is an Associate Researcher at the French Institute of the Near East (IFPO – Beirut) and a member of the Arab Council for Social Sciences.
Her research focuses on globalised violence, the radicalisation process, segregation, reconfigurations and practices of violence in a comparative analysis between Europe and the Middle-East.
