  • Biography

    Salma Bukhatwa is an Associate Professor of Pharmacology and since 2015 she has been appointed as Dean at the Faculty of Pharmacy – Libyan International Medical University (LIMU), Benghazi, Libya. Dr. Salma research interests are: the neurodegenerative diseases, Pharmacy Practice and Pharmacy education.

    She received her BPharm at University of Tripoli in 1989, her MSc in Pharmacology, at Al-Arab Medical University, Benghazi, Libya in 1998 as well as her PhD in Pharmacology at King’s College London, UK in 2008.

    Dr. Salma is also the head of the Academic Relations & International Cooperation office at LIMU.
