Women and violence with a gendered approach: MENA region and diaspora
Through the prism of gender, this chapter offers an analysis of violence and the means to exit violence.
Starting from the premise that there can be no peace without gender equality, this work is structured around a fundamental concept, that of the "continuum of violence", according to which violence in the public and private spheres and gendered violence have « gender » as their common denominator. Since male domination plays a role in the exercise of violence, in the context of the resolution of armed conflicts, concrete solutions must be found to combat gender-based violence.
